Jedidiah Dore

Manual Arts Instructor, Designing Me Pathway

Jedidiah Dore is a New York City artist and educator, and an Adjunct Professor of Illustration at Parsons School of Design.

He specializes in reportage art, mural painting, and drawing, and has created large-scale murals for public spaces across New York City, including a 17-piece series at the landmark Daily News Building and a recent live painting commission at JFK International Airport.

His work has also been featured in exhibitions with NASA, including art for the James Webb Space Telescope and the Artemis 1 Mission at Kennedy Space Center. His long-running project, the Stellar Science Series, combines art and science inspired by his visits to NASA centers such as the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Deep Space Network, and Goddard Space Flight Center.

At Drew School, Jedidiah leads the Designing Me pathway, where students explore who they are through sketching, drafting, typography, and storytelling. A key part of this journey is developing a Signature Style, a personal approach to handwriting that blends penmanship with self-expression and visual design.

Jedidiah’s teaching encourages curiosity, craftsmanship, and confidence. He helps Drew School students build their technical skills and creative voice—learning to see the world like artists and think like designers.
